The saying caveat emptor was never more appropriate than here. While the enhanced photos make the lampshade •look• like stained glass, the shade is actually made of a material similar in texture to canvass, with the stained pattern printed on. This is the definition of giclée, but sadly, I didn’t research that term before I paid over $200 for this poorly designed, cheaply made and inelegant product that was too much of a hassle to return. Do yourself a favor: if you need a floor lamp, go to a lighting store, or hire an interior decorator or designer.
