I loved these but they were too wide for my 18 inch calves and I am only 5'2, so they came up above my knees. These are very tall boots. If you are around my size the Comfortview Women's Wide Width The Janis Wide Calf Leather Boot fit me perfect. If you are taller than me and have 19in + calves, these might be just what you are looking for. I ended up returning these and keeping the other Janis ones. I commend ComfortView for making true wide-calf boots! Keep 'em coming!I decided it was worth the risk to buy cheap boots, and they even come in wide sizes. Here are my recommendations:Buy a size up. These are Tight. I wear 7.5 wide or an 8 in most shoes, I bought the 8 wide in these and they are too tight and not wide. The calfs are also Huge and I have muscular legs. But, I'd rather have too much room than too little. Other than that the boots look good and like something I might find at DSW. I'm going to return these and buy a 9 extra wide.Almost perfect! I see where some ladies are saying the wide calf is just a bit too wide. But Id rather have a little extra room than for them to be squeezing my calves to death. Very comfortable. Its really hard to find 10.5 wide calf boots in general right now, so im glad I found these until I can get back into the Naturilizer store.I invested time into searching for boots that would fit. I wear a size 12w, but have discovered many foreign manufacturers will cut the boot smaller, and then the boot fits poorly, or not at all.I ordered a 12ww hoping my search for properly fitting boots would come to an end. The joke was on me. I ordered THREE pair of boots, and this was the worst! I struggled to even get my foot in the boot. The boot isn’t even zipped up - the zipper is another dislike. My fingers are rough and chapped from pulling on the zipper tab.I have no other choice than to return these boots. Right now I want to scream because I have the money to buy boots, and I can’t find any that fit!!!These are very pretty and the shoe part is comfortable, but the calf is so wide and so tall that they're impossible for me to wear. I'm not small @ 5'9 & 250+, but the boot shaft hits the back of my knee, in the middle of the bend, and would rub like crazy, and the calf is so wide I can get my whole arm in the boot with my leg. They're going back.I can't wear them, but if you are very tall and have the kind of build that is bottom/leg heavy, these might work for you.I really like these boots very stylish however I have to agree w/ many other reviews that I read.. they truly aren't wide I had 2 order a double wide & still cant wear them w/very thick socks so if you wear a wide width you would need to get double wideReturned. My calf is almost 17 inches and these were too wide but oddly, the actual shoe part too tight/small. The material makes them look on cheap side. Not sure how durable they would be.I wear a 9 but got 9 1/2 and it was too small.
