The band tips have smudges as though used and returned.The headband works well, but it is much smaller than shown in the picture of the model wearing the product. But the headband does what it is supposed to do and my daughter liked it.I like that this headband is flat and lined with a slide-resistant fabric, but by the end of the day/toward evening, it still manages to migrate through my thin hair to almost slide off the back of my head. It doesn't pinch my head, which is great. The green color is dark enough it looks good for business attire or for going out. It should work well for women or girls.I received this product for free in exchange for this review.I recently let my hair grow for the first time in many years and found that I didn't hate it. So, now I need accessories (of course!) I've tried some headbands that are pretty tight or have long "teeth" to make the band stay in place which hurt and end up giving me a headache. So, I decided to try this band. It is a deep cranberry wine colored satin and is lined with a neutral fabric that feels like suede or suede type upholstery fabric. At about an inch at the widest point on the top of the head, it is really pretty. It tapers to a much smaller width behind the ear at the bottoms of the band. When I put it on, it stayed put and held my hair back but didn't pinch or give me a headache and I have to think that the soft fabric will be much kinder to my hair than the ones that have "teeth". I wear glasses when working or reading and they fit fine with this band in place. I really like it! So comfortable! It also came with one of the stretchy head bands that goes all the way around the head. It is functional and I like those to hold my hair back when I am using a facial mask. I like it, it's comfortable, works with my glasses and is put together very well. Recommend!This is a very simple headband. It's a really great colour. Advertised as dark green, I'd also argue dark teal, at least in some lights. It has lots of flex and sits firmly on my head. Does not move or slip. The inside of the headband is a light brown suede type material that is very soft. I have a thing about fabric texture and love velvet, silk and satin. This is aesthetically pleasing to me. At its widest point, it's 1 1/8 inch and looks slightly narrower than it appears in the picture, but it is a good size for me.This also came with a soft powder blue headband which is a nice add-on.I have tried many headbands and they all make me look like a little girl. This headband is simple, classy and well made. It does not hurt my head or slip off. I have thick curly hair and its looks great on me!this headband works very well with my very short (pixie cut) hair back. i was looking for a wider headband as the skinny ones just didnt do what i wanted them to, i always have a tuff of hair that wants to do its own thing, and this solves that problem for me.I purchased the headband set for my granddaughter and she likes it.
