HUNTER Women's Original Refined Wide Calf Rain Boots - Waterproof Matte Finish for Rainy Days, Gardening & Outdoor Activities

Let me start by saying I have average calves and do not per say need a wide calf boot, however I buy them to have that extra wiggle room to get them off and on, and for the look. These are not wide calf boots and I know this because I have a pair of wide calf hunter snow boots and they are marked "wide" on the inside of the boot and these do not have that. Overall they fit the way my others do (just a tighter calf) and I love the look and quality. For reference my calf circumference is about 15" with leggings on and I have only a slight gap 1/2 inch or so at the topBeautiful boots, love the black on black, but these are not remotely wide calf boots. I could barely get them on without any pants or leggings underneath. I am only keeping because I plan to lose some weight and hope they’ll fit better once I do. Nicely made, but not wide calf fit in any universe.These boots were very comfortable. I wore them to a concert and was on my feet for 4 hours dancing in The rain. I usually wear a 6 1/2 but decided to order a half a size down. The 6 was the right choice. Great rain boots!Loved them. Had to returnI read several reviews that suggested sizing up but I don’t agree. I wear a 6 1/2 in standard flats (7 in JCrew flats, generally) with a 14 inch calf at the widest part. I originally ordered a 7, which is sized up from my original tall Hunter boots. They were way too big so I ordered my regular Hunter boots size (6) and they fit perfectly. These have more support in the foot and are actually a little wider than the original tall style. Very comfortable! I would say to know your size in the Hunter brand and order accordingly - their sizing is unique.I read the comments before buying, these do not fit wide, as stated in description. I do not have big/wide size calves and these fit pretty snug. These boots fit standard size versus wide. I love them.The Hunters Rain boots are so luxurious and comfortable. They seem true to size and are easy to put on and off. I ordered a size 6 that feels good with or without socks. These are really nice boots. I highly recommend these boots for a waterproof, stylish look.Nice looking wellies but definitely not a wide fit. I’m a small size 4 (3,5 really) and those boots are quite tight. Calf also very snug.
